Stéphanie Ruth is an English–French independent curator and art historian based between London and Frankfurt am Main.

In 2022, she founded PARLOUR PARLOUR, a nomadic exhibition programme presenting historical, contemporary and design in private homes and architecturally distinctive spaces. Each project begins with its setting: architecture, artworks and objects are brought together with light, texture and sound to shape the experience of viewing.

She holds a master's degree in art history from the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, where her dissertation, ‘Performing Utopias: The Spatialisation of Man and Activation of Space in Oskar Schlemmer’s Theatre’ (distinction) examined space, movement and costume in Schlemmer's Bauhaus theatre — a preoccupation with the activation of space that continues to inform her practice.

In November 2025, Stéphanie was elected Chair of the Städelschule Portikus e.V., the support association of the Städelschule and Portikus, Frankfurt.

En 2022, elle fonde PARLOUR PARLOUR, un programme d'expositions nomade présentant des œuvres d'art historiques, contemporaines et décoratives dans des demeures privées et des espaces à l'architecture singulière. Chaque projet commence par son cadre : architecture, œuvres et objets sont mis en relation avec la lumière, la texture et le son pour façonner l'expérience du regard.

Elle est titulaire d'un master en histoire de l'art du Courtauld Institute of Art de Londres, obtenu avec mention, dont le mémoire portait sur l'espace, le mouvement et le costume dans le théâtre bauhaüsien d'Oskar Schlemmer — une réflexion sur l'activation de l'espace qui continue d'irriguer sa pratique.

En novembre 2025, Stéphanie est élue présidente de la Städelschule Portikus e.V., l'association de soutien de la Städelschule et du Portikus, à Francfort.
